Imagine relaxing in the quiet surroundings of an idyllic Swiss village with splendid views across to the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Chalet Schopfli is the ground floor apartment of a two storey chalet in the peaceful village of Beatenberg,  about 14 kms above Interlaken in the famous Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. It is situated on an individual plot with its own secluded, south-facing garden. Access is via a steepish path from the road, where there is parking for one car. Because it stands high above a quiet road any disturbance from traffic is minimal. Moreover, the land on the other side of the road drops steeply so there are no buildings  to obstruct the magnificent view of the three major Bernese peaks; the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. Also the town of Interlaken, the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the lake of Thun are clearly visible through the trees.

This is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the the sun, solitude and pure mountain air.
